At Lost Lagoon, we are offering not only a wide range of water sports activities, but also the opportunity to enjoy Egypt, in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the mass tourism. Your experience begins with a personal airport pick-up, followed by mainly on- but also off-the-water activities and concludes with a traditional Egyptian 'come together' evening. Your relaxed and worry-free vacation is our top priority, which is why we’re happy to take care of everything for you. We handle your transfer, accommodation, surfing activities and optional trips—leaving only the flight for you to book yourself.

The best part? Our kite & surf center is located right next to our cozy, family-like Surfer Hotel, so you can literally go from bed to board! Even better, you’ll share the lagoon exclusively with our guests, as we are the only school in the entire lagoon!

Nestled between the desert mountains and the sea, our Surfer Hotel is the ultimate destination for passionate water sports enthusiasts. Located just steps from the kite & surf center and less than 50 meters from the water, it offers the unique opportunity to go directly from bed to board and spend your entire day on the water.

With only 18 rooms, including 4 spacious apartments, the hotel preserves a familiar and personal atmosphere. It’s a hub for water sports lovers looking to connect with like-minded people, share experiences and make the most of the exceptional conditions at our spot.​

The Lost Lagoon is located at a huge and unique spot, far from the crowded beaches of other famous Egyptian surf destinations. It offers the perfect conditions 365 days a year for kitesurfers, wingfoilers and windsurfers, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced rider.
We are located just 10 km south of Safaga, where we enjoy truly paradisiacal conditions: as the only school in the lagoon we benefit from consistent side/side-on shore winds, a picturesque flat-water area, and a spacious standing area right at your doorstep. For all foilers, the area is flat near the shore, but the water deepens just a few meters out, allowing you to glide and fly effortlessly over the water. Further out, you'll discover a large white sandbank with crystal-clear water.​​
ABOUT US
We are Aline and Hamada, a Swiss-Egyptian couple, living our dream of owning our own kite and surf center.
​
Aline: "I was born and raised in Switzerland. I started kitesurfing 10 years ago, which eventually led me to move to Egypt. I've been living here for 5 years now. I managed a kite and surf school, before Hamada and I had the opportunity to build our own center."
​
Hamada: "I was 13 years old when my father first took me to a kite and surf center. At 18, I started working there and worked my way up. I set myself the goal of owning my own business one day, and when the opportunity arose, we seized it."
