At Lost Lagoon, our philosophy is to provide a home away from home for kitesurfers, wingfoilers and windsurfers. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere, combined with our personal dedication, sets us apart. We operate our place with Swiss reliability and Egyptian hospitality.

OUR VISION
We gained experience with traditional kite and surf schools in Egypt, many of them located within large hotel complexes dominated by all-inclusive tourism. Back then, we noticed that many guests were looking for something different — some also longed for a deeper connection with local life and culture. It was here that our vision began to take shape and grow...

With Lost Lagoon, this vision became reality: the perfect kite and surf spot, away from the crowds, closer to Egypt’s natural beauty and culture. A place focused on kiting and surfing, with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and a touch of Egyptian lifestyle.

OUR TEAM
OUR LAGOON DOGS
Life at Lost Lagoon is shaped not only by wind and water, but also by a small group of dogs who have become part of our daily routine.
​
Over time, several local dogs found their way to us and became part of our everyday life. Instead of turning them away, we chose to take responsibility. All of our dogs are well cared for, regularly fed, vaccinated, and neutered. Their health is very important to us.
​
They are friendly, social, and used to people, other dogs, and life around the lagoon. They love to play together, relax in the shade – and yes, some of them absolutely love the water.
At the same time, they play a natural role in protecting the area, keeping unwanted animals away and helping us maintain a calm and safe environment around the center and accommodation.
We understand that not everyone is comfortable around dogs. That’s why interaction is never forced – our dogs are free-roaming but respectful, and we’re always happy to help if guests prefer distance.

For us, this is not a project, but a responsibility and a way of life: caring for animals, respecting the local environment, and creating a place where humans and animals can coexist peacefully.
